Somebody recently wrote asking why
I had unplugged the Krups.
This is pretty much it in a nutshell.
It was really too painful for me
to say much about what I've been through until recently and I also tend
to not like "airing my laundry" so to speak, but knowing some of the beginning
may be helpful to somebody. "Some" means that the haunting was intense
but I can't get into total detail yet; maybe sometime in the future.
I put up with a lot of slings and
arrows in the earlier days from people who have their heads up their ass
like James Randi and his howling pack of jackals. (s'cuz my French)
I also have a short list of so
called Paranormal professionals who apparently also have their heads up
their ass. If you sense that I'm still harboring a good deal
of bitterness towards some people to whom I initially appealed for help,
you'd be correct.

November 2000: Purchased black Krups coffee maker from Sears (gift)
December 18, 2000: Woke up to find my pet lizard Jim dead, neck appeared to be broken.
December 25, 2000: White lights appearing in house, flying across rooms near the ceiling
Henceforth: Classic Poltergeist phenomena of every description (except EVP) ensues
January 2001 through June 2001: Paranormal activity escalates; Appeal to the University of Md. (Paranormal investigative group), to the Ghost Hunting group T.A.P.S. (now on T.V.) and to one other Maryland Ghost hunting group (Essex) for assistance, receiving none ; write countless postings in various online forums seeking information receiving little other than that I was "blessed"; consult with Medium Bob Kaplan in North Carolina (youaredevine.com) on three different occasions and finally got a clue.
May
1, 2001: Loud moaning noises emanate from two-story foyer
area adjacent to our kitchen,
I advise my contact
at The University of Maryland that vocalizations happen when the coffee
maker is running and again ask them to come out and witness it but he completely
cuts me off.
He tells me they
don't want to come across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from friggin Baltimore.
I am now trying
unsuccessfully to record the voices with a cheap cassette recorder that
I have.
May 7, 2001: Still heartbroken over Jim, we adopt Willsie our second Chinese Water Dragon.
August 2001: Purchase digital voice recorder and succeed in capturing dialog from unseen entities.
September 2001: Contact and join The American Assn. for Electronic Voice Phenomena and finally get some credence.
October 2001: They hook me up with Sarah Estep who founded the group and who lives in Annapolis.
October
7, 2001: Me and Krups visit Sarah's house successfully recording
voices there.
(These recordings
are on the website.)
October 2001: Putting together CoffeePotGhost.com to share the voices and their messages with the world.
Early 2003: It finally occurs to me that Krups is largely responsible for the more overt phenomena in the house, not just a result of it. Concerned about Willsie's safety, I unplug it and learn ITC techniques in order to continue receiving Spirit messages.
